World Cup #2 Salt - Training

The last few days have been spent in Salt and the feature which is to hold the second 2014 ICF World Cup. Currently it feels a lot more relaxed than Millau, and the change in scenery to a more wooded area is great.

When we arrived on Sunday we got straight on the water despite the shallow feature due to the dam releases. It was great to be on a different feature and start the process again. However, as expected the water level rose by over a foot by the following morning and the feature was completely different!

Over the last few days the water levels have been adjusted to find the best level and although this is great, it is difficult to prepare when the feature is constantly changing. In the last few sessions I have got loops, spins and cartwheels, and some space godzillas although the landing needs adjusting.

This afternoon are the first on the senior mens heats, followed by juniors and women tomorrow. I have a final training session bright and early before heats tomorrow afternoon.
